Waterloo & Collinwood

This former blue-collar and ethnic neighborhood is emerging as one of Cleveland's latest comeback stories. Anchored by one of the country's top live-music venues, the Beachland Ballroom, and one of the city's most robust arts organizations, Arts Collinwood, this lakeside community is experiencing a resurgence. The combination of affordable housing, a burgeoning arts community, and easy access to downtown Cleveland has been attracting out-of-state artists hungry for a higher quality of life. A flush of new businesses are expected to open en masse in late 2014 and early 2015.
