Applications are now open for Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC) 2027 Project Support grant program, the region’s largest funder of arts and culture announced last week.
Nonprofit organizations producing, presenting, or creating arts and cultural programs in Cuyahoga County are eligible to apply for funding for projects occurring in the January 1 through December 31, 2027 grant period. Applications will be accepted until Thursday, June 25 at 4:30 p.m.
CAC’s Project Support grant program is meant to promote public access and encourage the breadth of arts and cultural programming in the community by supporting projects with a core arts and culture purpose in Cuyahoga County.
Project Support grants may range from $1,000 to $7,500. Maximum grant request amounts are determined by an applicant organization’s CAC grant history and budget size.
“The organizations we fund through our Project Support grants can be found in every corner of Cuyahoga County,” Cuyahoga Arts & Culture executive director Jill M. Paulsen said in a statement. “The events, festivals, camps and programs they create are part of what makes our community a vibrant place to live, work and play.”
CAC requires 1:1 matching grant funds; 50% of matching funds can be in-kind income. All organizations seeking CAC Project Support funding in 2027, including current Project Support grant recipients, must complete the application to be considered for funding.
The application and grant guidelines can be found on CAC’s website. CAC staff will hold office hours throughout June to answer questions about applications. Check CAC’s project support grant page for specific dates and times.
Note that the General Operating Support grant program is currently in the first year of a two-year term and will not accept applications in 2026.
Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC) is the region’s largest funder for arts and culture, helping hundreds of organizations in Cuyahoga County connect millions of people to cultural experiences each year. Since 2006, CAC has invested more than $270 million in over 500 organizations, making our community a more vibrant place to live, work and play. For more information, visit cacgrants.org.
