In 2025, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC) awarded more than $10.75 million in grants to 300 local arts and culture nonprofits. CAC awarded Project Support grants to 217 nonprofits, including 15 first-time grant recipients, awarded 70 General Operating Support grants, and distributed 13 Cultural Heritage grants.
While reviewing the grants awarded last year, CAC executive director Jill Paulsen observed that “there’s something for everyone.... We hope residents take advantage of all the different types of programming.”
The events ran the gamut throughout the year—from events for dance and movement enthusiasts to programs for families interested in tackling STEAM projects, to festivals embracing cultural heritage.
