It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and it’s happening in
Northeast Ohio! On April 8, 2024 at 1:59 p.m., the total solar eclipse begins. Cleveland lies within the path of
totality—promising nearly four minutes of darkness at 3:15 p.m. as the moon
moves between the Earth and the sun. Everyone will be watching the phenomenon
for two hours and 30 minutes, as Cleveland won’t be in the path of totality
again until the year 2444.
