More than 60 entertainers will take the stage at the Beachland Ballroom this weekend, starting tonight, for the 11th annual International Ohio Burlesque Festival. The festival runs today, Thursday, Aug. 10 through Saturday, Aug. 12.
More than 60 entertainers from around the world will perform burlesque, drag, variety, and vaudeville each evening, led by Bella Sin, who founded the Ohio Burlesque Festival in 2011 and is the founder of the 20-year-old Cleveland Burlesque.
Established in August 2011 as a one-night showcase celebrating burlesque, variety, vaudeville, and drag, it was so well received that it expanded to three nights within two years. The festival is known for celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and unity.
The Thursday night Rock & Roll Opener features Detroit’s Eartha Kitten and headliner Maja Jera from Columbus.
The Friday Night All-Stars lineup includes drag king Commander Sins from Columbus and the featured performer, Sin, the Cleveland Burlesque Queen at headliner, along with New York’s Samson Night, winner of 2023 Exotic World Burlesque Hall of Fame.
The Saturday Night Gala begins with special feature Lottie Ellington from Detroit, headliners Sucre à la Crème from Montreal, and London native and Las Vegas resident Cervena Fox.

The Ohio Burlesque Festival runs Thursday, Aug. 10 through Saturday, Aug. 12 at the Beachland Ballroom, 15711 Waterloo Road, Cleveland 44110. All shows are for those 18 and older.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door for general admission; $60 for reserved seating; or $100 for VIP seating. Three-day general admission passes are available for $60.
