Dino Day roars into Cleveland Museum of Natural History with family fun for all ages

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History and Real Good Foods invite families and community members this Sunday, May 31 to its Museum Family Day: Dino Day—a full day of prehistoric fun for visitors of all ages.

Dinosaur fossil replicas are a popular attraction at CMNH.Dinosaur fossil replicas are a popular attraction at CMNH.The Dino-mite event that runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will feature hands-on dinosaur-themed activities, interactive programming, fossil discoveries, live animal encounters, and of course, Real Good Foods Dino Nuggets!

The day is roaring to life thanks to Real Good Foods—a better-for-you frozen and refrigerated food brand known for its high-protein and low-carb staples families love.

Activities Include:

  • Free Dino Nuggets for kids: Hungry explorers can sink their teeth into free samples of Dino Nuggets shaped like T. rex, Stegosaurus, and other prehistoric favorites.
  • Dinosaur-themed crafts: Visitors can create their own dino-inspired projects to take home.
  • Interactive dinosaur programming: Museum curators and educators will lead activities that help visitors learn more about dinosaurs and prehistoric life.
  • Dino-themed story time: Families can gather for a fun story time with Josh.
  • Live animal encounters: Guests can meet the Museum's animal ambassadors and discover how today’s wildlife connects to the age of dinosaurs.
  • Dino-inspired face painting: Visitors can choose from a variety of prehistoric designs.
  • Fossil digging: Participants can dig for fossils and explore what they can tell us about life millions of years ago.
  • Special movie showings: Dino Day will include special showings of “The Good Dinosaur at 10:15 a.m., 11:55 a.m., 1:35 p.m., and 3:15 p.m.
  • Meet-and-greet with community leaders: Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with local community leaders throughout the day.
All activities are included with general admission: Tickets for adults are $25 in advance, $28 at the door; $18 for youth ages two to 18, undergraduate students, seniors ages 61+, and military veterans, $21at the door; and children under age two are admitted for free.

Residents of Cleveland, East Cleveland, Brooklyn, Euclid, Garfield Heights, Maple Heights, and Warrensville Heights receive free admission on Saturdays and Sundays through Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Days with proof of address.
