No kings in CLE: Thousands protest downtown as miliary parade marches on in D.C.

Thousands of Northeast Ohio protesters gathered downtown at the Free Stamp in Willard Park, and additional sites in the region, joining the “No Kings” protests occurring this past Saturday, June 14 in response to the military parade staged in Washington D.C. to mark the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army on President Donald Trump’s birthday.

Organizers estimate that more than 5,000 people gathered for a rally at Willard Park, where they protested peacefully with signs conveying their feelings. Many people then marched through Cleveland’s downtown streets and gathered in Public Square.

Brady Dindia and Bob Perkoski captured many of the signs and sentiments while they attended the protest.
