Since 2019, thousands of people, characters, and even animals descend upon downtown Cleveland each July to get inspired, push their boundaries, and celebrate the power of live performance at BorderLight Theatre Festival.
Tickets are now on sale for a most transformative experience living life on the fringe, with more than 40 productions across 15 stages over the course of four days in Playhouse Square.

Fringe Unleashed features a high-energy night of previews, pop-ups, and live performances. Enjoy light bites, a cash bar, roaming characters, and rapid-fire 60-second pitches to help attendees map out their festival plans.

Single ticket prices for most Fringe performances are $16.50 for General Admission, with special pricing available for students, veterans, and seniors, ages 65 and older, at $15. Youth tickets, ages 6 to 14, are $11.50, and children ages 5 and under can attend for free if seated on a parent or guardian’s lap.
International program performances are priced separately, with tickets ranging from $34 to $38.
Binge on Fringe ticket packs offer flexible options with savings of up to 20%, including 4-packs for $60, eight-packs for $112, and 12-packs for $156.
The festival continues its commitment to accessibility for all. The majority of ticket revenue goes directly to the participating artists.

This year’s lineup brings together an expansive mix of local, national, and international artists. Audiences can choose from more than 120 performances spanning 43 distinctive shows, with artists representing 12 states and three countries.
Programming ranges from scripted theatre and musicals to dance and physical performance, along with immersive experiences, puppetry, storytelling, spoken word, cabaret, comedy, workshops, and multimedia works.
The festival spotlights a broad spectrum of voices and perspectives, including artists of diverse cultural backgrounds and LGBTQ+ creators, while also offering family-friendly options and bold hybrid forms that reflect BorderLight’s global outlook and spirit of innovation.
Festival Guides will be available in early June at coffee houses, restaurants, and businesses throughout downtown Cleveland and surrounding neighborhoods. In the coming weeks, the Festival Guide will also be available in digital form on the BorderLight website.
