Last Tuesday, Oct. 17, the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Cuyahoga DD) celebrated its second annual Day of Service.
More than 350 employees of the Cuyahoga DD volunteered at 16 local organizations, along with local providers and individuals who receive the board’s services.
Cuyahoga DD employees, as well as people with My Choice LLC, collected garbage on Edgewater Beach while spending time together.
The Day of Service program was a winner of the Cuyahoga DD Innovative Ideas Contest and is a big favorite among the staff.
