Party like it’s the late Jurassic! Teens invited to take over Natural History Museum on Friday

It’s been almost a year since the Cleveland Museum of Natural History (CMNH) unveiled the results of its decade-long, $150 million transformation—featuring reimagined exhibits, layouts, and interactive displays.

This Friday, Aug. 29 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., CMNH scientists and leaders are inviting teens, ages 13 to 18, to take over the transformed exhibits and spaces and explore what the museum has to offer at CMNH Teen Night.

“Cleveland Museum of Natural History's educational mission encourages visitors to be engaged in and inspired by science,” says CMNH senior director of learning and engagement Kaitlyn Nader. “We're excited to welcome teens back into our galleries for the first teen night since the Museum's transformation, allowing youth to connect with other like-minded students while having fun, learning about how to become citizen scientists in their communities, and exploring future STEAM careers.”

Additionally, representatives from Cleveland Metroparks, Greater Cleveland Aquarium, and the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland will be at CMNH’s Teen Night.

Admission is $5 and pre-registration is required.
