This St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, March 17, Betts Restaurant in the historic Kimpton Schofield, 2000 East 9th Street, is offering a way to prepare and sustain parade attendees for a long day of celebrating the luck of the Irish with its all day bites to keep revelers going.
Guests can valet at the Schofield and stay all day at Betts, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with live music, drinks, and food to keep the luck going all day.
The menu includes a fish sandwich ($19) with beer battered cod, lettuce and tomato, spicy aioli and fries; a corned beef sandwich ($20), with one-pound of corned beef, marble rye, Cleveland , Swiss cheese, thousand island dressing and fries; and sauerkraut balls ($16) with thousand island dipping sauce.
The Schofield mansion in Fairfax was anchored by its heart and matriarch, Elizabeth “Betts” Schofield, wife of Captain Levi Schofield and the designer to the downtown building that is now the Kimpton.
