Shaker Arts Council and Craft Kinship—artists with ties to Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) on a mission to support craft artists in their careers and partner with organizations’ community events—will present a Holiday Art Market at the Van Aken District (VAD) on Saturday, Dec. 13.

The one-day pop-up offers customers an opportunity to shop for the holidays while also supporting local CIA students, alumni, and emerging artists. Items for sale include glass, ceramics, jewelry, and other crafts.

The Holiday Art Market serves as a prelude to VAD’s Chill and Toast event, featuring live metal working demos and a kids craft station.

The entire experience features gifts for every age and price range, with 20% of the proceeds supporting the Shaker Arts Council, the volunteer nonprofit with a mission to establish arts as an integral part of the Shaker Heights community with regular events and programming.

The Holiday Art Market and Chill and Toast events will be held from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Van Aken District Market Hall, next to Craft Collective, 3441 Tuttle Rd, Shaker Heights 44122.
