The new look has modern updates while preserving the nostalgic charm that has made it a Cleveland favorite for nearly 90 years. Local artist Lisa Quine contributed an enormous mural, while designers preserved, yet updated, Malley's signature pink and green colors.

The Edmund Fitzgerald: Remembering tragedy on the Great Lakes 50 years later
On November 10, 1975, the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald, once the largest vessel on the Great Lakes, sank in a violent storm on Lake Superior, taking all 29 crew members to their deaths. The 729-foot freighter, carrying taconite pellets from Superior, Wisconsin to Detroit, was most likely overwhelmed by massive waves, just 20 miles from the safety of Whitefish Bay. The tragedy marked the end of an era for Great Lakes shipping and remains one of the most haunting maritime disasters in American history.
